For more information, please go to: http://www.orbworks.com/ Installation ============ 1. HotSync the following program files into your Palm: TimeBatteries.prc TimeBatteries.pdb PocketC.prc 2. Import the TBat.txt file into your Memo Pad or create a new memo in Memo Pad with the following lines: TBat 19630401 College 19980908 20020628 Vacation 19990623 19990902 The instruction on how to customize this TBat file is given below. You can run the program from PocketC, or directly by tap on the TimeBatteries icon. Battery Indicators ================== Battery #1 shows how many years you have left until you are 80 years old. Battery #2 shows how many years you have left until you retire at age 62. Battery #3 shows how many days you have left until your next birthday. TimeBatteries will send you a secret greeting on your birthday. :-) Battery #4 shows how many days are left until next New Year's Day. Battery #5 shows the time remaining this week. The tick on the battery indicates when weekend starts (at 5pm on Friday). Battery #6 shows the working hours remaining today. The working hours starts at 8am and ends at 5pm everyday Monday through Friday. The ticks on the battery indicate the lunch hour from noon to 1pm. During off working hours, #6 Battery shows the time remaining until the start of next working hours. During the weekend, #6 Battery shows the time remaining until the start of next week. Battery #7 shows first user-defined data. Battery #8 shows second user-defined data. Screen Refresh and Quotation ============================ The screen is refreshed approximately every 60 seconds. A new quote is displayed at the bottom of the screen every time you start TimeBatteries or when the screen is refreshed. TBat File Format ================ The TBat file is used to specify your birth date and to set up the user-defined batteries (#7 and #8). 1. The first line in the TBat file must be the word: TBat. 2. The second line is your birth date in the yyyymmdd format. yyyy = the year you were born. mm = the month you were born. dd = the day you were born. For example, April, 1, 1963 => 19630401 3. The third line is the name of the first user-defined battery (Battery #7). 4. The fourth line is the date in the yyyymmdd format that specifies the beginning date of the time period you want to monitor with Battery #7. This date should be earlier than today. 5. The fifth line is the date in the yyyymmdd format that specifies the ending date of the time period you want to monitor with Battery #7. This date should be later than today. 6. The sixth line is the name of the second user-defined battery (Battery #8). 7. The seventh line is the date in the yyyymmdd format that specifies the beginning date of the time period you want to monitor with the Battery #8. This date should be earlier than today. 8. The last line is the date in the yyyymmdd format that specifies the ending date of the time period you want to monitor with the Battery #8. This date should be later than today. Please make sure you have the TBat file in your Memo Pad and the numbers are in the correct format and in the correct order before you run TimeBatteries.
