StudFinder consists of the following tools: - a fake stud finder that simulates a real stud finder to find studs inside your wall. - a real stud finder that determines if someone is a stud or a dud. - a fake beeper but you need to turn it off after the beeps before others find you to be a dud. - a die roller - a coin flipper - a 1-inch ruler - a 2.54-cm ruler - a noise maker *Sorry, StudFinder does not chop onions. For more information, please go to: http://www.orbworks.com/ Installation ============ HotSync the following program files into your Palm: StudFinder.prc StudFinder.pdb PocketC.prc You can run the program from PocketC, or directly by tap on the StudFinder icon. Operating Instructions ====================== Fake Stud Finder ---------------- 1. Automatic Calibration: Place StudFinder flat against wall. Press the Scroll Up button to start. Do not move unit until the top light goes out. 2. Stud Search: Slowly slide unit across wall. Top light "On" indicates where stud begins. 3. Finding Stud Center: Continue sliding across wall. Top light "Off" indicates where stud ends. Midpoint between "On" and "Off" points stud center. 4. Extra Feature: The two numbers below the lights show the distances in inches to the just left stud and the just right stud. Real Stud Finder ---------------- 1. Point StudFinder to the person you want to scan. 2. Press the Scroll Down button to start. Fake Beeper Beeps ----------------- Press the Scroll Up button to start. You'll hear the fake beeper beeps during 'Calibration'. A good way to excuse yourself in the middle of a borning meeting. Die Roller ---------- Somewhere hidden in this marvelous device is an electronic die roller. Coin Flipper ------------ Somewhere hidden in this marvelous device is also an electronic coin flipper. 1-inch Ruler ------------ Somewhere hidden in this marvelous device is also a 1-inch ruler. Hint: the tips of triangles make good markers. 2.54-cm Ruler ---------------- Somewhere hidden in this marvelous device is also a 2.54-cm ruler. FYI, 1 inch = 2.54 cm.
