A fun and addictive bowling game for PalmOS.
Get some pizza and a cool drink and see if you can score a perfect 300!
No bowling shoes are needed but PocketC runtime-only application 
is required. :-)


Files included:

  PocketBowling.prc  The PocketBowling program stub.
  PocketBowling.pdb  The PocketBowling shareware applet.
  Readme.txt         This file.
  PCBO.txt           The file for Memo Pad to keep track of statistics.
  PocketC.prc        The PocketC application, freeware runtime-only

Installation
============

1.  HotSync the following program files into your Palm:

    PocketBowling.prc
    PocketBowling.pdb
    PocketC.prc

2.  Import the PCBO.txt file into your Memo Pad or create a new memo
    in Memo Pad with the following lines:

    PCBO
    0
    0
    300
    0
   
You can run the program from PocketC, or directly by tap on the
PocketBowling icon.


Playing the Game
================

  1. Press the Scroll Down button to start the game.  Your bowling ball will
     start moving across the bowling alley.
  2. Press the Scroll Down button to roll your bowling ball toward the pins.

  To Get a Strike
  --------------
     Try to roll the bowling ball toward the pins when the ball is at the
     midpoint between pin 1 and pin 2 or when the ball is at the midpoint
     between pin 1 and pin 3.

  Scoring
  -------
    The scoring in PocketBowling is the same as in regular bowling. Each game
    has ten frames.  The bowler has a maximum of two rolls per frame, except
    for the tenth frame, where he is allowed up to three rolls.  A strike is
    when all ten pins are knocked down with one roll.  A spare is when all ten
    pins are knocked down using both rolls of the frame.  A strike scores 10
    plus the number of pins knocked down on the next two rolls.  A spare scores
    10 plus the number of pins knocked down on the next roll.

  Statistics
  ----------
    PocketBowling will keep track of your bowling statistics if the PCBO file
    is installed in your Memo Pad.  To start over again, just re-install
    the original PCBO memo file in your Memo Pad.
