Battery indicators to keep track of your loans.
LoanBatteries displays your loan information and the year to 
date amortization table.
PocketC runtime-only application is required (included).
LoanBatteries is free if you are a registered TimeBatteries 
or BiorhythmBatteries user.

Installation
============

1.  HotSync the following program files into your Palm:

    LoanBatteries.prc
    LoanBatteries.pdb
    PocketC.prc

2.  Import the LBat.txt file into your Memo Pad or create a 
    new memo in Memo Pad with the following lines:

    LBat
    HOME
    198312
    165000
    7.5
    360
    1153.7
    CAR LOAN
    199812
    20000
    9
    36
    635.99    

The instruction on how to customize this LBat file is given below.
   
You can run the program from PocketC, or directly by tap on the
LoanBatteries icon.


Battery Indicators
==================

Battery #1 shows the name of the first loan and the number of monthly
   payments left and the current payment number in the following
   format: xxx/#yyy.  The first number xxx is the number of remaining 
   monthly payments.  The second number yyy is the payment number for 
   this month.
Battery #2 shows the remaining loan balance and the principal you have
   paid off so far in the following format: xxx/yyy.  The first number
   xxx is the principal left to be paid.  The second number yyy is the
   loan principal you have already paid.
Battery #3 shows the remaining interest and the interest you have 
   already paid off so far in the following format: xxx/yyy.  The first
   number xxx is the total loan interest left to be paid.  The second
   number yyy is the loan interest you have already paid.
Battery #4 shows the principal and interest amounts for the current 
   payment in the following format: xxx/yyy.  The first number xxx is 
   the amount in this month payment that goes to reduce your principal.
   The second number yyy is the interest amount in this month payment.
Battery #5 is the same as Battery #1 for the second loan.
Battery #6 is the same as Battery #2 for the second loan.
Battery #7 is the same as Battery #3 for the second loan.
Battery #8 is the same as Battery #4 for the second loan.

Year To Date Information
===========================

Press the Scroll Up button to display the payments you have paid year
  to date for the first loan.  The screen shows the number of months
  you have paid so far this year, the payment numbers for these 
  payments, the remaining loan balances, and the principal and interest
  amounts for each payment.  It also shows the total principal and
  interest amounts you have paid so far this year.
Press the Scroll Down button to display the payments you have paid year
  to date for the second loan.


LBat File Format
================

The LBat file is used to specify the information for the two loans.

1. The first line in the BBat file must be the word: LBat.
2. The second line is the name of the first loan.
3. The third line is the first payment month of the first loan in 
   the yyyymm format.
     yyyy = the year of the first payment.
       mm = the month of the first payment.
   For example, April, 1983 => 198304
4. The fourtht line is the loan amount.
5. The fifth line is the interest (in percent) per year.  
   Note: do not put the percent sign after the number.
6. The sixth line is the number of payments.  It is 12 times the
   number of years of the loan.  For example, enter 360 for a 30 year
   loan (12x30=360).
7. The seventh line is the monthly payment amount.

The 8th to 13th lines are the same as the 2nd to 7th lines for the
second loan.

Please make sure you have the LBat file in your Memo Pad and the
numbers are in the correct format and in the correct order before 
you run LoanBatteries.
